Introduction

I understand the profound impact mental illness can have on an individual. Feelings of isolation, fear, panic, intrusive thoughts, sorrow, and emotional turmoil are just some of the challenges that may arise. The good news is that treatment can make a real difference.

I integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), using psychotherapy as an exploratory tool to help clients uncover and heal deep-seated pain. CBT focuses on identifying and reshaping maladaptive thought and behavioral patterns through a process known as "thought reframing," leading to healthier outcomes. DBT emphasizes mindfulness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, helping clients cultivate greater self-awareness and more fulfilling relationships.

Clinical Interests

I especially enjoy working with young adults and professionals navigating anxiety, depression, and mood disorders such as Bipolar Disorder. I also work with individuals committed to personal growth who struggle with Emotional Intensity Disorder (Borderline Personality Disorder). My background in physiology and health informs my holistic therapeutic approach, integrating traditional, spiritual, and physical well-being.

Personal Interests

Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time in nature—hiking, kayaking, and exploring new places. I'm passionate about meditation, both as a personal practice and as a tool to help others cultivate mindfulness and inner peace.
