Introduction
"Longing for a meaningful life is inherent to being human. Yet, no one hands us a manual, so we often feel stuck. This is where therapists can provide relief. My practice is dedicated to motivated clients ready to embrace transformation by confronting limiting beliefs and behaviors. Therapy requires courage to examine and disrupt harmful patterns and narratives to achieve clarity, resilience, and fulfillment. As your therapist, I can help you harness your innate capacity to grow in ways that align with your values. I use an integrative lens and draw on a wide array of theories and strategies to tailor sessions to your specific needs. Everyone is different and their concerns are uniquely interwoven with their identities and experiences. We come to the best solutions in a collaborative way that takes all variables into account. The one constant is that therapy requires the client to be committed to growth.
I work with couples and individuals 25 and over on anxiety, depression, identity, life transitions, aging, body image, grief, communication, multicultural issues, relational conflict (including in polyamory), and more. I am LGBTQIA-affirming and provide a non-judgmental environment of trust and respect that honors your experience and authentic identity. My interest in human relationships runs deep. While my passion is working with couples, I also love working with individuals as we all struggle in our relationships, especially the relationship with ourselves, which is the most important one. I also bring my experience as a communication professor to the table. My hope is to help you thrive, live your best life, and feel at ease and connected.
If you're ready to prioritize yourself and take charge of your relationships and your life, reach out. We can discover your strengths, expand your self-awareness, foster deeper connections, and design a more joyful life. I am a native Spanish speaker and welcome those who prefer to do therapy in their language. I am currently accepting new clients for immediate openings."
