What is the Clinical Residency Program?
We know it can be challenging for new graduates to find supervision. As providers and clinical supervisors, we’ve been there as well! This is why Alli Center has a team of clinical supervisors who are passionate about contributing to your professional development as a member of the next generation of comprehensively trained therapists.
We also know that new graduates are particularly aware of the need to begin their work as soon as possible after graduation. Alli Center has processes in place to ease the transition into the profession with a minimum of worry.
What can you expect during your clinical residency?
Weekly meetings with your clinical supervisor – paid
Weekly staff meetings with all providers in your office – paid
Bi-weekly cohort seminar meetings with cohort instructor for high-level discussions and career development – paid
Full access to the entire Supervision Team for collaboration on special issues

Qualifications
Master’s degree in field from an accredited institution
Must hold a valid temporary license in the state of Iowa to practice mental health therapy
Training in the diagnosis and treatment of individuals and families with mental health concerns
A commitment to providing individual attention to help clients achieve mental and emotional well-being
Your clinical supervisor is an important choice! Having a good match in a supervisor is not unlike having a good match with a therapist. When you have a solid relationship with your supervisor, it can significantly accelerate your professional foundation-building.
