Daniel supports adults and young adults experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, loneliness, chronic pain and trauma. He has experience working with people throughout the lifespan as they navigate suicidal thoughts, self-harm and crisis situations. He helps his clients reach their goals to live a more connected, authentic and empowered life.
Daniel has worked in community crisis response, connecting people to local resources and helping them stay safe. He also has experience providing individual therapy with a special emphasis on addressing trauma, dissociation, and LGBTQ+ issues. His work incorporates acceptance and commitment therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and attachment theory.
Daniel’s approach to therapy includes helping clients identify their strengths and build new skills. He believes in the importance of acknowledging emotions, connecting with others, and building community. Daniel incorporates bodily awareness and mindfulness techniques into treatment. Daniel’s interests include reading a wide range of fiction and nonfiction books, watching horror movies, writing poetry, and taking his dog for muddy walks around Johnson County.
