Trisha Dean, LMFT, RPT

Trisha is a registered Play Therapist with a wealth of experience supporting individuals, children, teens, couples, and families. She has a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loras College.

Trisha addresses a range of issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, autism spectrum disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, and other behavioral challenges. She takes a collaborative, trauma-informed approach to her work with clients, integrating various therapeutic methods such as narrative therapy, mindfulness, and play therapy. 

Trisha is the Clinic Director of the North Liberty location.

Lori Holman, LMHC

Lori is a licensed mental health counselor with extensive training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy and EMDR. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kaplan University. 

Lori helps clients aged 18 and up to heal from traumatic experiences and reclaim their authentic selves. She loves cats and drinking coffee, as well as trying to understand complex subjects such as quantum mechanics and human consciousness. She’s still working on those last two.

Lori is the Clinic Director of the Coralville location.

Rachel Huntington, LMFT

Rachel Huntington is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep understanding of how people navigate various relationships. She provides couples counseling and supports individuals aged 18 and up in improving relationships with family members, partners, and peers. She holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Western Illinois University.

Rachel’s therapeutic approach is person-centered, equipping clients with the tools to improve communication, explore alternative perspectives, and provide empathic support and honesty to address challenges such as anxiety and depression and relational issues. She helps people understand how they can use their strengths to solve problems and develop new insights into how they developed problematic patterns. She enjoys using a blend of different approaches and theories such as Emotion-Focused Therapy, exploring the impact of early attachment on current relationships, and is expanding her expertise with Prepare/Enrich for premarital couples.

Rachel operates from the North Liberty location via telehealth.

Lance Lashley, LISW

Lance is a therapist specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, with a particular interest in helping clients with depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and other mood disorders. He offers a holistic approach to mental health, integrating practical strategies and mindfulness techniques to help clients manage emotions and improve their quality of life. Lance values creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, and he is dedicated to supporting them in their journey towards self-actualization and emotional well-being. His earlier studies in physiology and health enhance his holistic perspective, incorporating traditional, spiritual, and physical aspects of well-being into his therapeutic practice.

Lance operates from the Coralville location via telehealth.

Miranda Maday, LISW

Miranda is a licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, behavioral issues, and chronic health conditions such as cancer and organ transplant  She also has expertise in grief, adoption challenges, LGBTQ+ concerns, autism spectrum disorder, and the intersection of intellectual disabilities with mental health disorders. Miranda takes a trauma-informed approach to her work with clients and utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness.

Outside the therapy room, Miranda is deeply involved in community service and advocacy. She enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, hiking, camping, and attending concerts. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Education from the University of Northern Iowa. 

Miranda operates from the North Liberty location.

Alex McNamee, LMHC

Alex is a licensed mental health counselor who specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction for clients aged 18 and up. She holds a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from The University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Northern Iowa. 

Alex utilizes a person-centered approach in her work with clients and is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy. She enjoys working with veterans, first responders, formerly incarcerated individuals, college students, healthcare professionals, and individuals recovering from addiction. 

Alex operates from the Coralville location via telehealth.

Jason Knight, LISW, Program Coordinator

Jason is the Executive Director of Alli Center and runs the Cohort Seminar, a bi-monthly meeting for members of the Clinical Residency Program which focuses on broader topics such as networking, self-care, exploring specialization, caseload management, and a variety of practice-related topics related to the business of healthcare.
