Introduction

Growing and being independent is good but sometimes hard!

I specialize in addressing mental health issues stemming from self-worth and emotional needs. My approach focuses on helping clients achieve more differentiation of self, independence, and self-realization, where they define their existence without external interference. This process involves managing mental energy effectively and knowing when to naturally seek support to supplement emotional needs.

I also work with clients who want to establish healthy boundaries. An overly enmeshed boundary can lead to a loss of self, while a powerful one may hinder emotional expression and connection with others. I aim to help clients find a balanced boundary that supports their emotional well-being and fosters self-reliance.

My services are dedicated to nurturing clients' potential and energy, ensuring they stabilize their moods, and effectively managing future challenges. Overall, accompanying my clients and watching them live more flourishing lives is essential for my career.

Clinical interests

My practice incorporates structural, narrative, and Bowenian family therapy approaches. I find fulfillment in working with individuals, couples, families, the LGBTQIA+ community, and people of color. My therapeutic experience includes working with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia spectrum, depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, marital issues, and victims of crime. However, these are not limitations to the services I provide.

I can provide sessions in English and Mandarin and welcome clients who prefer therapy in Mandarin.

Personal interests

In my free time, I like driving, traveling, and hiking. Also, identified as one for the 90s generation, I love movies and video games and collecting action figures. Living with my cat, COCO, is also part of my life's enjoyment.
