Absolutely. We work with many UI students who are navigating stress, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions. Our Coralville office is just minutes away from campus, and online sessions make therapy even more convenient.
Yes, we accept most forms of insurance! Our therapists are in-network with different insurance plans, so please review the page of the therapist you will be working with to see if they can bill your insurance. In general, we accept UIChoice, Wellmark, and BlueCross BlueShield. Some providers are also able to bill Aetna, Medicare, Tricare, the VA Community Care Network, United Healthcare, UMR, and Medicaid.
Additionally, we believe quality mental health care should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we offer pro bono counseling services with our supervised interns at no charge. These sessions provide excellent support for clients who may not have insurance coverage or who prefer a no-cost option while still receiving compassionate, professional care. All of our interns are closely supervised by our fully-licensed, trained clinical supervisors.
