Introduction
It’s my goal to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and how you can live in a way that feels authentic and fulfilling. Whether it’s offering a different perspective, being an empathetic listener, or implementing boundaries, I believe empowerment mixed with a healthy dose of challenging your mind and fears can help you to reach your potential. Getting started can feel intimidating, but whatever you are dealing with, you don’t have to do it alone. I thoroughly enjoy showing people how transformative therapy truly can be. My clients have described my style as warm and empathetic, but willing to challenge them when needed.
Together we’ll explore how to make changes using a safe, non-judgmental approach. I utilize Person-Centered therapy, along with tools from therapies such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and Motivational Interviewing. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma reprocessing therapy.
Clinical Interests
Some of the issues I treat include anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, stress management, relational conflict, and major life transitions. Populations I have experience with and enjoy treating include veterans/first responders, addicts, formerly incarcerated individuals, college students and healthcare professionals, among others.
