Introduction

It is my belief that we all experience life differently and it is OK to need a little support navigating those experiences. As a therapist, I believe in meeting individuals where they are in their journey and providing support to help them explore and develop in the areas that hold significance for them.

Clinical Interests

My training and experience is rooted in trauma-informed care. I use elements of Art and Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative-Problem Solving, and Talk Therapy to promote client growth and goal achievement.

Whether it’s processing something that happened in the past, changing something in the present, or planning for the future, I strive to provide clients with a supportive, non-judgmental, and safe counseling space as they navigate self-discovery, healing, and growth.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, relational struggles, work-related issues, school/college-related issues, and low self-esteem, among other things. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and will work closely with you to set goals and develop new skills.

Personal Interests

In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, finding new crafts, and watching reality television. My goal is to visit all 50 states and as many National Parks as possible, so I am slowly working through that list while working on my photography skills. I also farm corn and soybeans so you may also find me driving a tractor on the weekend.
