Those thoughts and feelings can be so heavy and isolating. You are welcome and invited here to share your story. Together, we can explore your thoughts and experiences in a safe space and unpack those overpowering feelings. Together, through the use of ACT, CBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques, we can work to lift the clouds that are making thinking, feeling, and living difficult. I offer the opportunity to be vulnerable, honest, and uncomfortable in a non-judgmental and non-biased setting.

Clinical Interests

My areas of interest include working with clients who are 16+ and are experiencing symptoms of grief, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I work with clients who come from adoption, the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community, the LGBTQIA+ community, and those who are experiencing family estrangement. I have 5+ years of crisis work experience and am ASIST trained and certified.

Personal Interests

When I am not working, I am listening to one-hit wonders and pop music from the 90’s and early 00’s, and watching classics like ER, Will & Grace, and Parks and Recreation.

  • Licensed Master Social Worker, licensed to practice in the state of Iowa

  • Master of Social Work from The University of Iowa, with a Certificate in Aging and Longevity Studies

  • Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from The University of Iowa
